Role Overview

The Manager, Launch and Growth Operations will lead a portfolio of strategic programs to grow and scale Thumbtack’s partnerships business. The role requires a versatile operator who can set direction, lead complex execution, and deliver measurable outcomes.

What You Will Do

Lead a portfolio of strategic programs, build and scale new business capabilities, own measurable business outcomes, lead complex programs end to end, shape strategy through analytical insight, strengthen the Partner Operations foundation, and lead a globally distributed team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategy and operations, business operations, program management, general management, management consulting, or a related field
• 2+ years of people-management experience, with a demonstrated ability to set direction, develop talent, and lead a team of operators
• Experience translating ambiguous business opportunities into clear strategies, operating plans, and measurable results
• A track record of leading complex initiatives from concept through execution
• Strong business judgment and analytical rigor, with the ability to assess performance, understand economics, evaluate tradeoffs, and determine where to invest
• Clear, influential communication skills, with the ability to create a compelling vision, distill complexity, align diverse stakeholders, and influence without authority
• An owner mentality, strong learning agility, a bias for action, and a low-ego approach to leadership and collaboration
