TMX is seeking a Senior Process Analyst to oversee FinOps processes, including cost visibility, optimization, and governance. The role involves providing subject matter expertise, championing continuous improvement, and developing policies to ensure proper cost allocation. The Senior Process Analyst will work with the IT & FinOps Lead to maintain and enhance cost management tools and reports, identify opportunities for cost savings, and develop accurate spend forecasts.
Requirements
- University/undergraduate degree in related discipline or equivalent Analyst experience within the financial services industry
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within an Information Technology environment
- Minimum 2 years experience with cloud financial tools including AWS Cost Explorer
- Experience using a scripting language including Google Appscripts
- Experience developing reports and using data visualization tools including LookerStudio
- Demonstrated ability to balance competing or conflicting goals
- Strong influencing, facilitation and negotiation skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills to rapidly assess situations and develop alternate solutions approaches necessary to resolve high-level, complex problems
- Ability to work independently on assignments, with tight deadlines under minimal supervision
- Highly analytical
