Senior Executive Data Scientist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Scientist to develop and deploy data-driven solutions using statistical analysis, predictive modelling and machine learning.

Perform exploratory and advanced data analysis, design and develop predictive models, and support the deployment of analytical and machine learning models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in data science, advanced analytics, predictive modelling or related disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, predictive modelling and machine learning.
• Proficient in Python and/or R, and SQL, with experience handling large and complex datasets.
• Experience in model development, validation and deployment into production.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience in general insurance or financial services is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or relevant professional certifications would be an added advantage.
