Role Overview
The Data Scientist/Analytics Engineer will play a pivotal role in establishing the foundation for data-driven decision-making, business process digitalization, and enterprise-wide technology assessments in support of the Army Materiel Command (AMC) Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining executive decision support products, building data pipelines and visualizations, redesigning and improving manual processes, and ensuring strict data traceability.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school in a technical discipline (e.g., data science, engineering, mathematics, science, computer science, etc.)
- Proven experience building operational dashboards and data visualizations
- Strong expertise in developing data pipelines, including experience integrating data from various sources
- Expertise in business process digitalization
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience
- Expertise in languages like Python, R, and SQL; data visualization software like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik; and data management platforms like ADVANA, Palantir Foundry, Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Experience establishing data traceability methodologies
- Ability to define objective scoring criteria, evaluation metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for technology assessments
- Active Secret security clearance or U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance
