Data Analyst – Defence Programme

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Data Analyst to join a high-profile Defence programme supporting strategic decision-making through the development of data products, applications, and analytical capabilities within a secure environment. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary Agile team to transform complex data into valuable insights, support the development of innovative digital solutions, and contribute across the data lifecycle.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include analysing complex datasets, developing dashboards and reports, eliciting business and user requirements, collaborating with data engineers, and presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or related discipline
• Experience analysing and interpreting complex datasets
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience using SQL for data extraction and analysis
• Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding data modelling, data structures, and data management principles
• Experience working within collaborative, multidisciplinary delivery teams
