Role Overview

The Senior Data Analyst / Data Scientist will support insight initiatives for the Data and Analytics team across the modern data stack to turn raw data into decisions. The role involves performing hands-on research, data exploration, and analysis to drive decisions and strategies for user acquisition, retention, and monetization.

What You Will Do

The Senior Data Analyst / Data Scientist will work with the game teams to provide insights into user behavior, answer key business questions, and support A/B test design and analysis. The role also involves building and maintaining reliable, well-documented data models and pipelines, carrying out projects in machine learning, and designing clear, actionable Power BI dashboards and reports.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a quantitative field, 3+ years of relevant work experience, and hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses and data transformation tools. The candidate should also have a robust understanding of advanced statistics and experience designing effective ways of communicating and reporting results.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in similar positions
• Highly proficient in SQL and Python for data exploration and analysis
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses and data transformation tools
• Solid experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI
• Comfortable working with version control (Git/GitLab)
• Robust understanding of advanced statistics suitable for the analysis of skewed populations
• Experience designing effective ways of communicating, visualising and reporting results/analysis
• Experience in predictive analytics and segmentation
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail
