Business Development Manager

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager expands Unified Microsystems’ market presence across the UAE by building professional relationships, identifying business opportunities early, and developing strategic partnerships.

What You Will Do

Build and maintain relationships across the UAE commercial property and fit-out community, identify upcoming office relocations, refurbishments, fit-out and construction projects, and generate qualified leads and opportunities for the company’s IT infrastructure, security, audio visual, managed services and workplace solutions teams.

This is a relationship-led, consultative business development role focused on the commercial real estate, workplace, office fit-out and construction communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong professional network in the UAE business community, experience in commercial real estate, office fit-out, workplace consultancy, interior design, commercial property, construction, MEP or ELV contracting, audio visual, managed services or technology sales, and technical fluency in the solutions we deliver.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• Relevant experience in business development, sales or another client-facing relationship role
• Technical fluency in the solutions we deliver (IT infrastructure, audio visual, ELV and security systems)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in meeting people and building long-term professional relationships
• Excellent communication, networking, presentation and negotiation skills
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to spot a business opportunity early
• Proactive, self-motivated, ambitious and results-oriented
• Disciplined CRM and reporting habits
• A valid UAE driving licence and access to a vehicle
