Role Overview
The web manager will be responsible for managing the strategic development, content generation, and implementation of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine (Penn Vet) website and subsites to elevate brand visibility and reputation, uphold message discipline, and support institutional growth.
What You Will Do
The web manager will create, publish, and optimize written and visual/video content; ensure day-to-day website editorial maintenance; and work with internal partners on content development and posting.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with training/experience in web technology
- Proven work experience in a web services environment
- Understanding of web standards/best practices
- A minimum of two to three years of experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably WordPress
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and browser-based user interfaces
- Experience in an academic and/or hospital environment
- Capability in developing information architecture and content strategy
- Experience with multimedia on a CMS platform
- Knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and HTML
- Strong understanding of SEO, accessibility, and usability standards
- Familiarity with Google Analytics
