Senior/Regular Finance Operations Specialist with German

Role Overview

The role involves performing accounting and financial operations across different finance processes, including Record-to-Report (RTR) and Procure-to-Pay (PTP). The Senior/Regular Finance Operations Specialist will support daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include performing balance sheet, bank, and intercompany reconciliations, handling fixed asset accounting, payroll accounting, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and monthly revaluations, and supporting lease accounting activities in accordance with IFRS 16.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or a relevant finance process (RTR and/or PTP)
• Good understanding of accounting principles and standards, including IFRS
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
• Proactive approach and willingness to contribute to continuous process improvement
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Very good command of German is a must
• ACCA/CIMA qualifications would be considered an advantage
