Role Overview

The Environmental Finance Portfolio Financial Analyst provides financial performance analysis, risk assessment support, and compliance monitoring for a portfolio of U.S. Bank renewable energy tax credit investments and loans. The role involves tracking, reviewing, and inputting annual operating budgets, quarterly financial statements, and annual financial audits into internal U.S. Bank data systems. The analyst will engage with customers and investment partners to coordinate communications, requests for information, and financial and operational reporting.

What You Will Do

The analyst will provide financial performance analysis, risk assessment support, operational performance analysis, and compliance monitoring for a portfolio of U.S. Bank tax credit investments and loans. They will also interact with internal and external customers, general partners, and project sponsors regarding partnership reporting requirements and programmatic compliance with the Renewable Energy Tax Credit (RETC) programs.

Requirements

  • Typically Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, Economics, or Taxation, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically up to three years of related experience
