Role Overview
The Product Marketing Lead will work closely with business stakeholders and across Marketing functions to drive desired business results and outcomes for USAA’s core P&C products. The role requires understanding business performance insights and translating them into actionable marketing activities at both national and regional levels.
What You Will Do
The Product Marketing Lead will lead the planning for a fully digital-first marketing lifecycle, inclusive of strategy, member research, planning, direct response marketing, agency management, creative development, compliant execution, analytics and optimization, and performance management.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
- 8 years of relevant work experience in financial services with hands-on experience in conversion channels (i.e.: Paid Search, Affiliates, Direct Mail).
- Extensive experience in collaborating with key partners and stakeholders, influencing decisions, and managing work to achieve strategic goals.
- Strong business acumen in the areas of business operations, industry practices and emerging trends.
- Ability to seek and analyze data from variety of resources to support marketing decisions and alignment with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Product Marketing, including providing input into growth objectives, developing marketing plans, performance reporting, and driving incremental growth consumer definition, situation assessment, financial analysis, and marketing strategy.
- Understanding of specific laws and rules that govern consumer products.
- Demonstrated proficiency with marketing data analytics, including the ability to analyze and evaluate information.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to adjust communication style based on the audiences.
- Ability to exercise appropriate judgment by using information and knowledge to make timely, effective decisions.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adjust scope or resources as appropriate, mitigating potential risk to projects.
