Director, Brand Strategy and Digital Marketing

Role Overview

The Director of Brand Strategy & Digital Marketing will lead the development of bold marketing strategies that strengthen the UW Health brand, elevate its reputation, and connect patients, employees, providers, and communities to the care that matters most. This role provides enterprise leadership for brand strategy, digital marketing, sports partnerships, consumer insights, and responsible AI adoption in marketing.

What You Will Do

As the Director of Brand Strategy & Digital Marketing, you’ll lead a team of brand strategy, creative, and media professionals and manage relationships with external marketing partners, including the lead advertising agency. You’ll drive integrated marketing campaigns, digital engagement strategies, and high-profile partnership initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject area such as Marketing, Communications, Market Research, or a related field
• 7 years relevant experience in developing and accelerating brand strategy and positioning at a product/department/functional level
• Experience leading an advertising function with an emphasis on digital advertising
• Experience developing brand ambassador programs
• Experience leading brand integration of acquired organizations
• Experience in a large academic or complex health program that included Marketing/Communications services
• Prior management experience
