Role Overview

The Director, Marketing Operations, Promotional Materials Management will lead Vertex’s centralized promotional materials operations function across all U.S. products and businesses. This role is responsible for the end-to-end operational management of promotional material review, approval, production, distribution, and lifecycle management, ensuring efficient, scalable, and compliant execution.

What You Will Do

Lead the end-to-end operational model for promotional material review, approval, production, distribution, and lifecycle management across all U.S. business units. Develop and track key performance indicators, metrics, and reporting to assess operational health, throughput, compliance, and service performance.

Requirements

• Significant experience in marketing operations, commercial operations, promotional review, or related functions within the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and operational service models in a complex, matrixed environment
• Deep understanding of promotional material review processes and cross-functional review committee operations in a regulated environment
• Experience building, implementing, and improving SOP-driven processes, workflows, and governance models
• Proven ability to lead continuous improvement and change management initiatives across people, process, and technology
• Strong experience developing metrics, dashboards, and reporting to drive operational performance and decision-making
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
