Role Overview

Join Virta’s team as a Business Operations Specialist, Finance & Transaction Operations, focusing on transaction-related finance operations and data-driven business operations. You will ensure the quality, accuracy, and usability of financial and operational transaction data for internal stakeholders and B2B customers.

What You Will Do

Produce, validate, and manage accurate transaction and financial data, support finance and transaction operations, analyze financial and operational data, and develop and improve Python-based scripts and automations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 2–4+ years of relevant experience in business operations, finance operations, transaction operations, data operations, or a similar role
• Strong hands-on SQL skills and good understanding of relational databases
• Experience working with Snowflake
• Practical experience with Python for data analysis, scripting, or automation
• Strong understanding of data structures, data quality controls, and operational reporting
• Experience working with financial, transactional, or reconciliation-related data
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills
• Analytical and detail-oriented way of working, with the ability to spot inconsistencies and investigate issues independently
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes
• Good communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment
• Professional fluency in English
