Role Overview
The contractor will develop, update, support, and maintain WEA and affiliated websites within Squarespace, ensuring they are accessible, responsive, easy to navigate, search-optimized, and aligned with WEA’s evolving programs and initiatives.
What You Will Do
The contractor will collaborate with WEA’s marketing, communications, design, and technology partners to deliver high-quality websites that meet WEA’s needs, and will troubleshoot broken links, layout issues, forms, integrations, navigation, and other website functionality.

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing professional websites
- Strong hands-on Squarespace experience
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Solid understanding of responsive web design and optimization
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals
- Understanding of website structure, navigation, information architecture, usability, and general web design principles
- Familiarity with web analytics platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accurate, polished work
