Business Development Manager

Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, Small Business, you’ll combine hands on management of broker introduced lending opportunities with the relationship building and networking focus of a broker facing BDM. You’ll work across Business and Home Lending, support more complex lending conversations and play an important role in helping brokers and customers achieve their goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Business Banking, ideally with exposure to broker-originated or small business lending.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with a genuine enjoyment of meeting new people and growing a network.
• Demonstrated success in generating new and existing broker networks
• Ability to influence and guide conversations with key stakeholders, including brokers, customers and internal partners.
• Sound understanding of structuring lending solutions, with the ability (or appetite to learn) to work on more complex financial products and services.
• Strong business acumen, solid organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload independently
• A track record of delivering results that exceed customer expectations, with strong attention to risk, compliance and credit quality.
