Associate Sales Manager

We are hiring an Associate Manager, Sales, to join our Commercial Team in Advario Singapore.

Key Tasks:

• Support the Commercial Manager in managing and growing relationships with existing customers
• Develop a strong understanding of customer business requirements and identify opportunities for service expansion and value creation
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive and solution-oriented engagement
• Develop and recommend contract renewals and retention initiatives to maintain long-term customer relationships
• Act as a key point of contact for assigned customer accounts
• Identify, qualify, and support the pursuit of new business opportunities within the chemicals, petrochemical, specialty chemicals, and related sectors
• Develop and recommend commercial proposals, including pricing, contract structure, escalation mechanisms and ancillary charges
• Participate in customer meetings, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations
• Coordinate the implementation of new customer opportunities and product onboarding activities
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, customer requirements, and competitor activities within the chemical and petrochemical sectors

Your Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial, sales, business development, account management, or related roles within the chemical, petrochemical, tank storage, terminals, logistics, or energy industries
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• Strong commercial and customer relationship management skills
• Good project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Experience working with industrial customers and managing customer implementation projects will be an advantage

Note:

• The primary work location for this position is Jurong Island. However, job requirements may dictate periodic travel to off-site locations for meetings.
• Official working hours: M-F, 830 – 1700 hours
