Events Manager

We’re a fast-paced events agency seeking a proactive Events Manager with strong operational skills and confidence to lead on-site. You’ll work closely with clients alongside our supportive team!

About the role
You’ll manage the full event lifecycle—from warehouse to execution. Success is measured by client satisfaction, revenue and lasting partnerships. You’ll handle everything from client acquisition and service to on-site event coordination and post-event evaluation. Key responsibilities

Acquire and service clients to meet revenue targets

Identify upsell opportunities when formulating project plans that are in line with brand’s guidelines

Present full range of services at client meetings

Attend site visits and serve as primary contact for clients

Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision

Adhere to SOPs at all stages, from concept development to post-event evaluation

Monitor project risks to ensure that timelines are met

Budget for events and monitor expenditure to stay within budget

Handle client billings and vendor invoicing in a timely manner

Lead negotiations with vendors to ensure budget requirements are met

Ensure timely dissemination to relevant departments

Safely load & unload goods if required

Coordinate deliveries with our logistics team & outsource if required

Manage client inventory & keep records of incoming/outgoing deliveries

Obtain & review vendors quotations

Build a database & maintain good working relationships with vendors

Inspect vendor deliverables to ensure quality standards

Administrative duties & other matters as required

On site

Handle takeover & handover of venues

Manage live event coordination across all parties

Assist logistics team during setup & inspect installations to ensure quality standards are met

Capture deliverables for submission of completion reports

Develop contingency plans to mitigate crisis situations for smooth operations despite unexpected circumstances

Give guidance to ensure high service standards & job satisfaction among freelance event staff

Handle feedback & act appropriately to deliver exceptional client experience consistently

Represent us when engaging clients to maintain relationships or create business opportunities

Tally inventory at end of event & report discrepancies

Assist logistics team with tear-down & equipment reset

Conduct debrief for feedback & present data analysis

Requirements

Diploma in Event Management or related field

‚â•1 year of managerial experience

Proven track record in event execution

Comfortable with irregular hours (weekends/public holidays)

Physically able to lift up to 25kg and comfortable indoors/outdoors

Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and AI software such as Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, GAMMA, Canva

Comfortable with hands-on work and alcohol-related products

Meticulously organised with strong problem-solving abilities

Able to work independently and in a team

Resourceful & able to think on your feet under pressure

Enthusiastic & able to follow directions

Fast worker with initiative & can-do attitude

Good communicator with a presentable & professional demeanor

Strongly Preferred

Class 3 License with clean record

Familiarity with local venues & industry practices
