Account Manager

Job Title: Account Manager, APAC
Location: Singapore (hybrid)

The Opportunity

A maritime software company with a track record across many of the world’s leading shipowners is creating its first Account Manager seat in Singapore. It is a new function, not a backfill. The hire works directly alongside the Director of Growth, APAC on the region’s key accounts while building a small and mid-market portfolio of their own, with a stated ambition to grow the right person into a director-level role within one to two years.

The Impact You Will Have

• Own a portfolio of small and mid-market shipowner and operator accounts, from renewal through to expansion
• Work inside the region’s largest key accounts, alongside some of the most significant names in shipping
• Act as the single point of ownership for your customers, from deployment through go-live and beyond
• Shape how account management is run in APAC from the start

What Success Looks Like

• A background in maritime, whether shipping, ship management, marine operations or maritime technology
• Around three to five years in account management, customer success or a similar client-facing role
• Able to run several accounts and workstreams at once without anything slipping
• Commercial instinct to spot and progress expansion opportunities
• Mandarin is a strong advantage given the regional account base
