Global VP of New BD & Partnerships

Web3 Payments & Cards

Location: Singapore / Flexible / Remote

Reports to: CEO

About the Role

We are a fast-growing Web3 payments infrastructure company transforming how businesses and users interact with digital assets. Our mission is to bridge traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem through innovative card issuing, crypto-to-fiat payment rails, stablecoin payments, and Cards-as-a-Service (CaaS) solutions for Web3 institutions, protocols, fintechs, and consumer-facing brands.

We are looking for a Global VP of Partnerships & Business Development to lead our global partnership strategy and drive international business expansion.

This role will be responsible for building and managing high-impact relationships across card schemes, BIN sponsors, banks, payment institutions, and leading Web3 companies, with a strong focus on strategic partnerships, co-branded card programs, CaaS opportunities, and scalable global expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global partnership strategy across card schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard), BIN sponsors, issuing/acquiring banks, payment institutions, and other key ecosystem partners.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with Web3 companies, exchanges, wallets, protocols, digital asset platforms, fintechs, and other financial institutions to drive adoption of our card and payment solutions.
  • Identify and develop CaaS and co-branded card opportunities, particularly with leading Web3 institutions and consumer-facing platforms.
  • Own end-to-end deal execution, from opportunity sourcing and commercial structuring through negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and launch.
  • Work closely with Product, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Engineering teams to structure scalable and compliant partnership models.
  • Drive strategic expansion into priority markets across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and other key regions, leveraging existing relationships and developing new market opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across the global cards, payments, banking, and digital asset ecosystems.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and strategic partner engagements.
  • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape commercial strategy, partnership priorities, market expansion, and go-to-market plans.

Ideal Candidate

  • 8+ years of experience in card issuing, payments, fintech partnerships, banking partnerships, BIN sponsorship, or business development, with meaningful exposure to the Web3 / digital asset ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of the global card and payment ecosystem, including card schemes, BIN sponsors, issuing/acquiring banks, program managers, processors, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience developing co-branded card programs, CaaS solutions, payment infrastructure, or other embedded financial products.
  • Proven track record of building strategic partnerships from scratch and taking them through to commercial launch.
  • Experience working across multiple markets and navigating complex international partnerships.
  • Existing senior-level relationships with Visa, Mastercard, issuing/acquiring banks, BIN sponsors, payment institutions, major Web3 companies, exchanges, wallets, or digital asset platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and ability to manage complex multi-party deals.
  • Able to operate effectively across Product, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Engineering, and commercial teams.
  • Entrepreneurial, highly execution-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing and evolving environment.
  • Strong global mindset and ability to work independently across regions and time zones.

What Success Looks Like

You will help build and scale the partnerships that underpin our global card and payment infrastructure — from card schemes and banking relationships to CaaS and Web3 distribution partnerships.

We are particularly interested in candidates who combine deep payment infrastructure knowledge with a strong global network and the ability to convert strategic relationships into commercially meaningful partnerships and transaction volume.
