Job Description
- Leads and manages Finance Operations team
- Oversees the payment and receipt functions
- Reviews clients’ and brokers’ reconciliation
- Reviews Investment security tagging, update of last done price and investment reports
- Reviews daily entries for posting in accounting system
- Reviews payment, receipt, miscellaneous, and trade debtor reconciliation
- Reviews AML transactions
- Liaises with internal and external auditors
- Lead process improvements and drive efficiency within the team.
- Provide guidance and support to the Finance team
- Support ongoing transformation projects or new product launches
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance or related
- At least 8-10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance with good understanding of business processes in Finance operations
- Prior experience in finance automation and digitalisation initiatives
- Good communication and ability to work collaboratively across different stakeholders’ groups and deliver timely results in a dynamic working environment
- Experience managing and leading a team
- A good understanding of end-to-end Finance Operations function in a securities broking industry is preferred
- Has a positive attitude, meticulous and a fast learner
