Business Analyst – Wholesale Banking, Customer Onboarding & Servicing

Contract: 12 months

Experience: At least 4 years of business analysis experience in banking or financial services

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support wholesale banking initiatives involving customer onboarding, servicing workflows and data management. You will work closely with business stakeholders, System Analysts and testing teams to turn business needs into clear requirements and support delivery through testing.

Responsibilities

• Work with business specialists to gather, review and validate requirements.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes and map future business and operational processes.
• Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
• Manage requirements-related risks, issues and changes in scope. Assess the impact of change requests and support effort estimates.
• Hand over requirements to System Analysts and maintain traceability between business requirements and functional specifications.
• Review test plans and functional test scope. Support SIT and UAT, including defect prioritisation, tracking and resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of business analysis experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of wholesale banking, particularly customer onboarding, servicing workflows and data management.
• Experience gathering requirements, analysing processes and working with technology teams on functional solutions.
• Experience supporting change delivery, SIT and UAT.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity and resolve complex issues collaboratively.
