Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-centric Technical Sales Engineer to drive business growth within the power supply and power testing solutions market. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen, enabling you to understand customer requirements, recommend tailored solutions, and cultivate long-term client relationships. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.

Work Location

Toa Payoh, Singapore (with opportunities for local and overseas travel)

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Work Arrangement

Hybrid/WFH arrangement available upon successful completion of probation

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell AC/DC power supplies, programmable power sources, and power testing solutions.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales opportunities.
  • Support customers throughout both pre-sales and post-sales activities.
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of power electronics and AC/DC power systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical parameters such as voltage, current, and power.
  • Ability to interpret technical datasheets, specifications, and schematics.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Experience working with power supply systems or test & measurement equipment.
  • Exposure to industrial electronics, automation, energy, or related sectors.
  • Experience handling RFQs, tenders, and distributor or channel partner networks.
