A tight team of around 15 operates under one P&L, meaning real collaboration across departments rather than silos, for a client list that reads like a beauty and lifestyle wish list: think global fragrance houses and heritage fashion names alongside buzzier indie brands.
The PR team itself is small and close-knit: a director, a manager, a senior executive and an executive, working across a mix of retainer and project clients. High trust is the operating principle here; people are given real autonomy and are backed to push back on unreasonable client demands rather than just absorb them.
They’re looking for a PR Manager to join on a permanent basis, taking ownership of a varied retainer portfolio spanning fragrance, fashion and lifestyle.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll run point on a portfolio of retainer and project clients, translating category and cultural trends into stand-out media moments rather than just distributing releases. Expect a genuine mix: from heritage fragrance houses with decades of brand equity to newer, buzzier names that need a sharper, more culturally fluent voice.
You’ll manage and develop a senior executive and executive, own client relationships end to end, and be trusted to shape account strategy rather than simply execute against a brief. Day to day, that means counselling clients with confidence, building out media moments, and holding the line when a client’s ask doesn’t serve them.
And who are you?
You’ve got strong agency-side PR experience in the consumer space, ideally fragrance, fashion, beauty or lifestyle. If you’re a Senior Executive or Assistant Manager ready to make the step up, around 3 years’ experience is right; if you’re already operating at Manager level, 5+ years is more the mark.
Cultural fit matters more here than a perfect CV. You’re someone who thrives with autonomy rather than needing to be managed closely, who brings energy and ideas rather than waiting to be told what the story is, and who’s comfortable being the one in the room pushing back when a client oversteps.
