Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Director, a Marker Leader in Consumer Services sector

Our client from the Consumer Services sector is hiring a Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Director — a newly created, high-impact leadership role. Reporting directly to the Head of the Department, you will be responsible for building a strategic initiatives team focused on identifying and unlocking entirely new partnership and funding opportunities beyond traditional channels. This is an opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader who enjoys creating strategy from a blank canvas, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving long-term growth through innovation.

In this role, you will identify and cultivate new funding ecosystems, develop market-entry strategies for untapped donor and partner segments, and establish new approaches to strategic engagement. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape future growth initiatives, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and help define the direction of a function being built from the ground up. As a senior hire, you will have the opportunity to build a team over time while serving as a trusted strategic advisor on high-priority initiatives.

Ideal candidates must have a proven track record in fundraising, strategic partnerships, business development, or commercial leader who has successfully built new revenue streams, opened new markets, or developed innovative partnership strategies. You thrive in ambiguous environments, comfortable operating without an established playbook, and possess the confidence to engage senior executives, influential stakeholders, and high-value partners. Experience working with family offices, philanthropy, corporate partnerships, or other sophisticated stakeholder groups will be highly advantageous.
