About the Opportunity

Addison Group is representing a national professional services organization with the search for Senior Manager or Director of Revenue Operations – to lead the modernization and scaling of its revenue management and cash function. This individual will play a critical role in transforming end-to-end order-to-cash operations, improving process efficiency, implementing automation, and building a high-performing team that supports future growth.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic leader and hands-on operator with experience leading revenue operations, billing, client onboarding, and cash management functions in a complex services environment. This role will partner closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to optimize systems, processes, and performance across the revenue lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the transformation of order-to-cash operations by improving processes, increasing automation, and reducing manual effort.
  • Build scalable workflows, operational controls, and best practices that support growth and improve efficiency across the revenue cycle.
  • Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to streamline processes and enhance the customer experience.
  • Lead revenue (AR, Billing, Cash App) -related system initiatives, including Salesforce implementations, integrations, and ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Lead and develop a team responsible for billing, client onboarding, account administration, and cash application and revenue functions.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure operational performance, billing accuracy, cash application efficiency, and overall revenue cycle effectiveness.
  • Oversee invoicing operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with customer agreements.
  • Ensure client onboarding and account setup processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Partner with finance and collections teams to improve cash flow, reduce outstanding receivables, and strengthen revenue operations performance.
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, and business insights that support strategic decision-making and executive visibility.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, documentation, and internal controls to support a well-governed revenue operations function.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and change management initiatives related to systems, processes, and organizational growth.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and subject matter expert on revenue operations, providing guidance and solutions for complex operational challenges.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, billing, order-to-cash, shared services, accounting, or related functions.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing operational teams.
  • Comfort navigating and use of Salesforce.
  • Experience leading large-scale process improvement, transformation, or automation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of order-to-cash operations, including billing, accounts receivable, cash application, and customer onboarding processes.
  • Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Technology, Operations, and commercial teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and change management capabilities.

Preferred

  • Industry experience in professional services, business services, legal services, or high-volume transaction-based environment.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Background improving operational scalability in a rapidly growing organization.
  • Experience designing KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance reporting.

Base salary range $145,000 to $170,000 dependent on experience. Bonus. Medical, dental, vision, and 401K match. Self managed PTO. Remote position + travel.
