Afflatus Group helps companies across the data center lifecycle hire the engineering, construction and operations talent they need: developers, operators, general contractors and MEP design firms. We’re now growing in the US and Canada and want a seasoned industry insider to help us do it.
This is not a cold-outreach role. We’re looking for someone who already has relationships across the data center world: people who take your call, trust your judgment, and would take a meeting because you suggested it.
What you’d do
– Open doors at hyperscale and colocation operators, data center developers, mission-critical general contractors and MEP engineering firms
– Introduce Afflatus to talent, HR, construction and operations leaders where we can solve real staffing problems
– Advise on which accounts to pursue and when, such as new campus announcements, capacity expansions or new markets
– Join key conversations when your credibility helps
What we offer clients
– Permanent and contractor staffing across electrical and mechanical engineering, commissioning, construction management and critical facilities operations
– Offshore talent and Global Capability Centre (GCC) setup in India for design, BIM and engineering support
Who you are
– 15+ years in data centers, mission-critical construction or MEP engineering, in operations, project leadership, HR/talent or business development
– Active, current relationships with decision-makers at US and/or Canadian data center operators, developers or contractors
– A reputation that opens doors on its own
The arrangement
This role is purely performance-based, with no base salary: you earn a revenue share on the business you originate, on terms agreed directly with you and made clear from the first conversation. The time commitment is flexible and can fit alongside an existing consultancy, a board or advisory role, or semi-retirement.
