Our client, a growing Automotive Fintech company, is looking for an Account Manager to join their team! This is a great opportunity to join a fast-moving, fully remote organization at an exciting stage of growth, where you'll own the full customer journey, from the first scheduled meeting through close, onboarding, and long-term success. This is not a prospecting role: appointments are set for you, so you can focus on closing deals and making customers successful.
Base: 70-80k with 100k OTE
Responsibilities:
- Run scheduled appointments with decision-makers, leading discovery conversations and product demos (no prospecting required)
- Manage deals through the full sales cycle from first meeting to signed agreement, including proposals, pricing discussions, and negotiation
- Become a trusted voice for the company's brand, confidently handling questions and objections with poise
- Communicate the value of technology-driven solutions to traditionally risk-averse, compliance-conscious buyers
- Translate technical or product-heavy concepts into clear business value for non-technical decision-makers
- Lead implementation and onboarding for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition from signed deal to go-live
- Train customer teams on the platform and serve as their primary point of contact after launch
- Monitor account health, adoption, and satisfaction, proactively addressing issues to drive retention and overall customer success
- Prepare and share reporting on account performance and usage with customers and internal leadership
- Maintain accurate records of deals, customer interactions, and account activity in the CRM
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly closing and customer success targets
- Participate in regular pipeline reviews and coaching sessions with sales leadership
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a closing sales role such as account executive or account manager
- Proven track record of running deals from first meeting through close and meeting or exceeding quota
- Experience with implementation, onboarding, or training customers on a software or technology product
- Confident, credible presence on calls and demos, able to speak naturally with senior leaders rather than relying on a script
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage an active deal pipeline alongside a book of existing accounts
- Comfortable pulling together and presenting reporting on account performance
- A coachable, feedback-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in improving performance over time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and professional proposals and customer communications
- Nice to have: Retail automotive experience (dealership sales, F&I, BDC) or a background selling software into dealerships
