About The Company

Our client is a fast-growing, mission-driven nonprofit in Boulder. It focuses on expanding opportunity and creating lasting impact in communities nationwide. With 20 years of proven results, the organization brings an entrepreneurial, results-driven approach to its work and is scaling quickly across the country.

About The Role

We are hiring two Events and Experience Marketing Managers with 3–7 years of experience to lead high-quality events and experiences nationwide. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing, a fellow Events Manager, the relationship team, and outside partners to plan and run community-building and fundraising events. Events range from intimate 75-person donor dinners to a 500-guest annual flagship event. Travel to Illinois, North Carolina, Georgia, New York, California, and future expansion markets is required.

This role is ideal for a driven, up-and-coming professional who loves owning the details and wants to grow with an organization. The goal isn’t just well-run events. It’s memorable, on-brand experiences that inspire guests to come back and bring others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and carry out integrated event plans tied to set goals and budgets, working with internal staff and outside partners
  • Own the full guest experience: venue selection, food and beverage, event flow, program design, speakers, and auction coordination
  • Design and produce bold event signage that carries both branding and storytelling
  • Partner with the creative agency on floorplans, signage, printed and digital invitations, and other marketing needs
  • Write, design, and send engaging emails that build excitement around each event
  • Manage event budgets, track actual spending against plan, and reconcile financials with the accounting team before and after each event
  • Coordinate with the relationship and marketing teams so event details match external messaging
  • Lead on-site execution and direct staff, volunteers, and vendors so every detail is in place before guests arrive
  • Track and manage event information in Salesforce, Google Suite, and Alchemer
  • Analyze event results and share them with the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in events, experiential marketing, fundraising events, or marketing/creative agency account services. Strong execution matters more than years of experience.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong planning skills and a habit of following through
  • Creative thinker who brings fresh ideas to guest experience and brand storytelling
  • Calm under pressure and solutions-oriented when plans change at the last minute
  • Strong at building relationships with vendors, sponsors, and volunteers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic and a collaborative mindset
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Suite; Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Able and willing to travel nationally for events

Benefits

Health and dental insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and a 401(k) with company match.
