VP of Sales and Partnerships

On Site Full TimeManhattan, United StatesAlliance Homecare

Lead an established sales organization, develop exceptional people, and shape the next chapter of growth for Alliance Homecare and TrustHouse in New York.

Your colleagues know you as the person who developed them. You coach reps through stalled deals, you share your best relationships with the right people on your team, and you are credible in a family office and a hospital discharge office in the same week. People want to work for you, and you pride yourself on retaining talent.

You take ownership, you operate on data rather than anecdote, and you understand that durable revenue comes from a team that stays committed to the mission, seeks out opportunities to improve, and trusts the process, not from a few heroic quarters.

You are equally comfortable:

  • Carrying a revenue number while building a team that can carry it
  • Stepping into a live deal when the team needs you, and staying out of it when they do not
  • Sitting across from a wealth advisor, a hospital discharge planner, and a family office principal in the same week
  • Building the cadence, CRM discipline, and pipeline hygiene that keep a sales team running smoothly
  • Representing two brands to different buyers without blurring either one

You bring commercial discipline, data rigor, and a real investment in the people who work for you. Think less individual closer with a team attached, more a leader whose results come from the group they built.

ABOUT US

Alliance Homecare has been one of the Northeast’s leading private-pay home healthcare organizations for more than two decades. TrustHouse, An Alliance Homecare Company, extends that work into concierge-level private-duty nursing and care management for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families.

Our model combines exceptional clinical talent, personalized service, and deep relationships with leading healthcare institutions to provide a level of care that is unmatched in the industry.

We are a growth-oriented company, focused on profitable growth and exceptional client care. Our operations and clinical teams do whatever it takes to retain clients and extend duration of stay. A new client here is the start of a long relationship, not a closed deal.

New York is our largest and most established market, and the proving ground for the commercial model we are now extending into New Jersey, Florida, and Boston.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a senior commercial leadership opportunity to guide an established team, strengthen premium referral partnerships, and deliver profitable growth across our largest market.

As the VP of Sales and Partnerships, New York, you will lead the sales organization across New York City, Long Island, Westchester, and Bergen County, New Jersey for both Alliance Homecare and TrustHouse, reporting to the CEO. You are inheriting an established team of experienced reps who know this market, and keeping that team together and growing is as much of the job as the number itself. You will lead the outside sales team, the inside sales team, and the partnership channels that feed both. The two brands serve the same geography at different price points and to different buyers, and keeping that distinction sharp in the field is part of the work.

You will:

  • Lead, develop, and retain a sales team of 10+ across outside, inside, and partnership roles
  • Own the New York and New Jersey revenue number across both brands
  • Build the referral channels that drive premium volume, and put your team in front of them: hospitals, rehabs, wealth advisors, family offices, and trust and estate attorneys
  • Run the sales process with CRM discipline, accurate forecasting, and weekly accountability
  • Translate what works in New York into the playbook the newer markets run

You will operate with significant autonomy and direct executive visibility. New York is the company’s revenue base and the home of its most experienced sales talent, which means this role is measured on both what the market produces and who stays to produce it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop the outside sales team across New York City, Long Island, and Westchester
  • Retain and grow the existing team through onboarding, ongoing coaching, career pathing, and a clear development plan for every rep
  • Lead the inside sales team, setting the cadence of outbound touchpoints and inbound coverage and supporting reps with messaging that converts
  • Always be hunting for great sales reps: keep a live bench of A-team candidates whether or not a seat is open, so the team grows on opportunity rather than on vacancy
  • Hire A-team players, meaning people who raise the standard of the group and are good to work alongside, not high producers who cost the team more than they bring in
  • Cultivate and retain top-tier field sales talent, with a pipeline that supports ongoing development and succession
  • Operate as a player-coach: develop the team first, and step into live deals where your presence changes the outcome
  • Foster a high-performance culture built on coaching, accountability, and service excellence

Revenue & Commercial Performance

  • Own the New York revenue number across Alliance Homecare and TrustHouse
  • Develop and execute integrated sales strategies that drive growth across the market
  • Own KPIs including sales growth, customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, and client retention
  • Drive profitable growth rather than volume: protect rate integrity and sell the clients the business can serve well
  • Support Operations and Clinical, who own client retention and duration of stay, by selling clients the business can serve well and setting accurate expectations at intake
  • Report on sales performance weekly to senior leadership with executive summaries, detailed analysis, and recommended actions
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly strategy reviews, adapting tactics as the market and referral sources shift

Partnerships & Referral Channels

  • Build referral channels across both traditional homecare and ultra-high-net-worth segments, including hospitals, rehabs, wealth advisors, family offices, and trust and estate attorneys
  • Develop senior-level hospital and clinical relationships that support enterprise partnership-building, and transition them to the team rather than holding them yourself
  • Differentiate the Alliance Homecare and TrustHouse brands, services, teams, and clients so each has credible ambassadors in the field
  • Partner with Marketing on sales enablement, lead qualification, and lead routing

Process, Data & Forecasting

  • Run the CRM as the system of record: pipeline hygiene, activity tracking, and forecast accuracy
  • Use CRM and reporting tools for forecasting, sales prioritization, performance analysis, and identifying seasonal and emerging opportunities
  • Identify trends in the New York homecare market and refine the sales process against them
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Clinical, and Marketing on growth initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

  • 7+ years of sales leadership with direct responsibility for a team of 10+ and for the revenue that team produces
  • Evidence that the people you have led stayed, improved, and were promoted
  • Experience building relationships with high-net-worth clients or premium, relationship-driven referral channels
  • A track record of building and developing a sales team while growing revenue, not only inheriting an existing one
  • Demonstrated CRM discipline: forecast accuracy, pipeline management, and data-backed reporting to executive leadership
  • Proven expertise creating and executing strategic sales plans in a high-growth environment

Preferred

  • Luxury healthcare, private-duty home care, concierge medicine, wealth management, luxury hospitality, or other premium relationship-driven services
  • Senior-level hospital or clinical relationships in the New York market
  • HubSpot experience
  • Experience partnering with marketing on sales enablement tools and lead flow
  • Bachelor‚Äôs degree required; Master‚Äôs degree a plus

YOU ARE

  • A coach first: the kind of leader people cite years later as the reason they got good at this
  • Accountable for a team‚Äôs number, and comfortable being measured on whether that team stays and improves
  • Equally fluent with a hospital discharge planner and a family office principal
  • Data-driven, with the rigor to forecast accurately and the judgment to know when the forecast is wrong
  • Able to represent two brands with different buyers without blurring either one
  • Generous with relationships, introductions, and what you know
  • Always recruiting, with a bench of A-team candidates you could call tomorrow
  • Focused on profitable growth and on clients who stay, not on volume for its own sake
  • Mission-driven, and energized by the convergence of health and wealth that defines this client base
  • Someone who embodies the care and service excellence both brands are built on

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

This is a rare opportunity to:

  • Lead an established, experienced team in the company‚Äôs largest market rather than build one from nothing
  • Lead sales across two distinct brands serving the same geography at different price points
  • Sell into one of the densest concentrations of private wealth in the country
  • Sell into an operation that holds its clients: retention and duration of stay are actively owned and managed by the operations and clinical teams
  • Build the commercial model that New Jersey, Florida, and Boston will run
  • Operate with significant autonomy and direct executive visibility

New York is not a market you have to invent. It has an established client base, a referral network, more than two decades of reputation, and a sales team that already knows how to sell here. What it does not yet have is the structure to scale at the pace the rest of the company is moving. You are being hired to build that structure around the people already doing the work, and the markets that follow will run what you prove here.

Compensation: Base salary $190,000 to $225,000, plus a $125,000 variable target, for $315,000 to $350,000 total target compensation.
