Business Development Analyst

Role Description: The Business Development Analyst (Origination) is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This position is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities in the U.S. services sector, including driving research activity, engaging CEOs and family owners directly, nurturing relationships and driving towards transaction outcomes. The Analyst will be an integral member of the Deal Team for any given investment and support post-close add-on M&A activity as well.

The Analyst will develop and maintain prospect lists; oversee origination oriented technologies (including CRM, email marketing, mail marketing, data intelligence platforms, research portals and more); collect and organize data; manage contingent and offshore support staff; execute on research plans; and tradeshows and conferences across the U.S. and Canada and lead direct engagement efforts (including calling prospects, sending mailers, managing email lists and visiting prospects in-person).

• Strong Analytical and Research Capabilities, including Market Mapping, Industry Analysis, Data-Driven Evaluation of Potential Targets, Use of AI Enabled Tooling and Familiarity with Research Platforms
• Solid Financial Acumen with Basic Understanding of Financial Statements and Valuation Concepts
• Clear Written and Verbal Communication Skills, with the Ability to Convey Complex Thoughts Into Easy to Understand Messages
• Relationship Oriented with Ability to Network Professionally, Engage Executives, Bankers and Intermediaries while Maintaining Dialogues Across Topics
• Ability to Work On-Site in Miami, FL, while Collaborating Effectively in a Small-Team Environment and Managing Multiple Priorities in a Fast-Paced Setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Anthropic Claude Suite
