About ClearDesk

ClearDesk helps US small and mid-sized businesses hire and manage full-time Remote Team Members (RTMs) based in the Philippines. We place and support ~500 contractors today across home care, real estate, bookkeeping, and home services, on a simple flat-fee model with a US leadership team and Philippines-based operations managers behind every placement.

Our SDR team is the front door to the business. SDRs book qualified appointments for our Account Executives; our 2026 goal is 100 new deals a month, and every one of them starts with a conversation an SDR made happen. This is a high-activity, high-coaching role with a clear path to Account Executive.

Role: Sales Development Representative · Reports to: Head of Growth · Team: Sales (SDRs, AEs, Client Experience)

What you’ll do

  • Run outbound (200-300 calls daily via dialer) into our core verticals (home care agencies, real estate teams, bookkeeping firms, home services companies) using phone, email, and LinkedIn sequences.
  • Qualify for fit: the right business size, a real staffing need, and a decision-maker on the call.
  • Confirm and protect every booked meeting: reminders, pre-call touches, and reschedules. Only about 30% of our booked appointments show today, and the SDRs who lift that number are the ones who get promoted.
  • Keep HubSpot clean: every contact, touch, and meeting logged the same day.
  • Hand each appointment to the AE with a short, useful brief: who they are, what’s hurting, what they asked about.
  • Use AI tools to research prospects, personalize outreach, and draft follow-ups so more of your day is spent talking to people.
  • Share what you’re hearing (objections, hot verticals, messaging that lands) with Marketing and the AEs weekly.

Who you are

Must have

  • 1+ year in an SDR/BDR, inside sales, appointment-setting, or phone-heavy customer role, or a recent grad with real hustle and evidence of it (sales competitions, side businesses, commission jobs).
  • Not afraid of the phone. You’d rather make 80 dials than send 80 emails, and you can do both.
  • Organized and consistent: you hit your activity numbers every day, not just on good days.
  • Clear, friendly, and quick on your feet with small-business owners who are busy and skeptical.
  • Coachable. You want feedback on your calls and you act on it the next day.
  • Comfortable in a CRM (HubSpot a plus) and already experimenting with AI tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling or supporting home care, real estate, accounting, or home services businesses.
  • Familiarity with staffing, outsourcing, or working alongside offshore teams.
  • Spanish or Tagalog.

Compensation, location, and how to apply

  • Compensation: Base salary plus commission on meetings booked and held, with an accelerator on meetings that close. OTE discussed in the first conversation. (
  • Location: In-office in San Diego (UTC)
  • Benefits: Health, PTO, 401(k), equipment
  • Growth path: Our AEs are promoted from this seat. Hit your numbers for two to three quarters and show you can run a discovery call, and the next step is yours.

TO APPLY: Email [email protected] your resume and 1-2 paragraphs on why you’re the best person for this role. Hiring two SDRs ASAP. Interviews start tomorrow, Friday, October 23.
