Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (Syracuse)

The FP&A Manager will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis while providing financial insights to support business decisions and growth. This role will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve financial performance, support operational planning, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, long-range financial planning, and monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop financial models to evaluate business opportunities, new product introductions, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams on demand forecasting, pricing, sales commissions, incentive programs, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, analyze key business drivers, and implement process improvements to enhance financial performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related financial roles.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with advanced Excel proficiency; experience with BI and ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to leadership.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to collaborate across departments to drive results and continuous improvement.
