About DEVSEC
DEVSEC is building Weaver, an AI-native platform that helps investigative, legal, and intelligence professionals make sense of massive volumes of complex information. Our customers work on high-stakes matters including fraud investigations, asset recovery, litigation, and regulatory inquiries. Weaver combines advanced AI, intelligent agents, and investigative workflows to help teams uncover connections, analyze evidence, and move complex matters forward faster.
We’re growing our commercial team and looking for someone with strong lead generation and outbound prospecting skills who is eager to develop into a full-cycle sales professional.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a driven, AI-native Business Development Representative with experience in B2B technology sales who is ready to take on greater ownership.
You’ll initially focus on generating qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting while helping improve our HubSpot CRM and sales processes. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, writing compelling outreach, and using AI and automation to work smarter and more efficiently.
This is a hands-on role with a clear path toward becoming a full-cycle Account Executive. As you develop your product knowledge and sales skills, you’ll take on increasing responsibility for discovery, demonstrations, customer trials, and ultimately closing your own deals. You’ll work directly with DEVSEC’s founders and sales leadership, gaining exposure to the full sales cycle while helping shape how we bring an innovative AI platform to market.
What You’ll Do
Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Generation
- Execute consistent outbound prospecting through cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Research target accounts, identify decision-makers, and build prospect lists across investigative firms, law firms, litigation funders, and professional services organizations.
- Use AI to accelerate prospect research, enrich lead lists, personalize outreach, and automate repetitive tasks while maintaining a human touch.
- Develop and test messaging tailored to different customer segments, buyer personas, and business challenges.
- Qualify leads, book discovery meetings, and generate opportunities for the sales team.
- Manage prospect follow-ups and track activity, engagement, and conversion metrics to improve results.
CRM & Sales Infrastructure
- Own the organization, improvement, and ongoing maintenance of our existing HubSpot CRM.
- Clean, enrich, and segment contact, company, and deal records to maintain accurate, actionable data.
- Establish consistent processes for lead qualification, pipeline management, and activity tracking.
- Build and optimize outbound sequences, workflows, automations, dashboards, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to streamline sales operations and improve visibility into pipeline performance.
Grow Into a Full-Cycle Sales Role
- Participate in discovery calls, product demonstrations, and customer negotiations alongside founders and sales leadership.
- Develop the product expertise and commercial judgment needed to independently communicate Weaver’s value.
- Progressively take ownership of discovery, presentations, customer trials, and objection handling.
- Begin managing and closing smaller customer opportunities as you demonstrate readiness, with the goal of transitioning into a full-cycle Account Executive role.
What We’re Looking For
Required

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging professional buyers.
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms, including data management and workflow optimization.
- Strong organizational skills, disciplined follow-through, and a results-oriented approach.
- A self-starter mentality, comfort operating in an early-stage environment, and ambition to grow into a closing sales role.
