Customer Operations Inventory & Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary

This hands-on role manages customer orders, inventory, warehouse activity, and shipping for ERRECINQUE USA. The coordinator will help move operations from Michigan to South Carolina, set up the warehouse and ERP processes, and support accurate, on-time customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

· Receive, review, enter, and update customer orders in the ERP system.

· Confirm delivery dates and communicate order, inventory, shipment, and proof-of-delivery information to customers and the commercial team.

· Monitor open orders, backorders, schedule changes, urgent requests, and late deliveries.

· Maintain accurate customer, order, inventory, location, lot, and shipment records.

· Receive materials and verify quantities, part numbers, packaging condition, and shipping documents.

· Organize warehouse locations and complete put-away, picking, packing, labeling, and shipment preparation.

· Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and support annual physical inventory and monthly reconciliation.

· Coordinate carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, inbound shipments, outbound deliveries, and freight claims.

· Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels, commercial documents, and carrier instructions.

· Manage returns, warranty items, quality-hold material, damaged products, and related documentation.

· Help design the South Carolina warehouse, configure ERP order and inventory processes, and document operating procedures.

· Support the transition from Michigan to South Carolina while maintaining uninterrupted customer service.

Required Qualifications

¬∑ Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

· Three to five years of experience in customer order management, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations.

· Experience using ERP sales-order and inventory functions.

· Knowledge of inventory counts, warehouse controls, shipping documents, customer returns, and freight claims.

· Ability to perform physical warehouse work, including receiving, counting, moving, picking, packing, and inspecting materials.

· Microsoft Excel skills and strong written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial, wholesale, distribution, or import-based operations.

· Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, or imported products.

· Knowledge of Incoterms, customs documentation, freight classifications, or tariff codes.

· Forklift certification, or willingness to obtain it if required.

· Knowledge of Italian or relevant military logistics, supply chain, or warehouse experience.

· Highly organized, accurate, dependable, and customer focused.

· Able to manage multiple orders, shipments, and priorities at the same time.

· Calm and solution oriented when handling urgent delivery or transportation issues.

· Proactive in identifying delivery risks, inventory shortages, and operational problems.

· Comfortable building processes in a start-up environment and working with teams in the United States and Italy.

Work Environment

· This position includes both office-based order management and hands-on warehouse duties.

· The employee must follow warehouse safety, quality, traceability, storage, handling, and shipment procedures.
