About GoFormz
GoFormz helps field teams capture data and run workflows from anywhere. Construction and Energy companies use us to replace paper forms, speed up safety and compliance work, and connect the field to the office.
About the role
We are hiring a Senior Enterprise BDR and Team Lead to open doors at enterprise Construction and Energy accounts and lead our BDR/SDR team as a player-coach. The role consists of doing both: prospecting against your own personal target, and managing and coaching the team to do the same.
You will also have the opportunity to help shape how the team works. In your first weeks you will take a fresh look at our process, playbooks, tools, and targets, and share your input on how we can keep improving. It’s a great fit for someone who likes building the playbook as much as running it.
What you’ll do:
Lead from the front
- Own a personal target for qualified meetings and pipeline in enterprise accounts.
- Run multi-threaded outbound into operations, safety, IT, and field leadership at large Construction and Energy companies.
- Write outreach that is researched, relevant, and short. We do not spam, and we expect every touch to earn the reply.
- Work target account lists side by side with Account Executives and Account Managers.
- Join the team on pre-event and post-event outreach, and attend select industry events.
Lead the team
- Directly manage the BDR/SDR team: hiring, onboarding, weekly 1:1s, call and email reviews, and performance management.
- Set clear weekly priorities and hold the team to activity and meeting targets.
- Coach by doing. Run live prospecting sessions, share your own sequences, and show what good looks like.
- Build a path for BDR/SDRs to grow, whether that is into sales, account management, or senior development roles.
Build and improve the process
- Work in partnership with marketing and sales leadership and an outside consulting team to review our processes and make recommendations to improve them.
- Help optimize workflows, including lead routing, sequences, handoffs to sales, and the mix of in-house, outsourced, and AI-assisted prospecting.
- Define and report the metrics that matter: meetings held, sales-accepted leads, pipeline sourced, and conversion by segment.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and ABM on account selection, messaging, and content needs.
What you bring:
Must-haves
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales development or business development, with a track record of hitting your own outbound targets.
- Demonstrated success prospecting enterprise accounts: long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and buyers who do not answer generic outreach.
- 2+ years leading or coaching BDR/SDRs, formally or as a team lead, with examples of people you made better.
- Experience assessing and rebuilding a team’s process, such as sequences, cadences, routing, targets, or tooling.
- Comfort being hands-on every day. You still like picking up the phone and writing your own emails.
- Fluency with a modern outbound stack, including Salesforce, a sales engagement or data tool such as Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Clear, direct communication with reps, sales leaders, and executives.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience selling into Construction, Energy, or other field-heavy industries.
- Experience running account-based outreach in partnership with a marketing team.
- Experience with event-led prospecting, before and after trade shows.
- A point of view on where AI helps prospecting and where a person still has to do the work.
What success looks like
- First 30 days: You know the team, the accounts, and the numbers. You have shared a written assessment with recommendations to improve process, playbooks, and tools, and you are booking your own meetings.
