Financial Analyst

Intrinsic develops software products and technology solutions for national defense and a range of commercial industries. As a Financial Analyst, you’ll help shape our financial decisions through accurate reporting, thoughtful analysis, and informed budgeting. You’ll work closely with leadership and project teams to strengthen financial operations, support government contract requirements, and guide sustainable growth.

As a Financial Analyst you will:

·      Develop regular business financial reports for executive leadership to drive decision making

·      Assist in managing and issuing payroll alongside other financial officers

·      Track contribution margins, expenses, and assist in establishing best practices

·      Process vender and employee expenses and invoices

·      Produce and monitor meaningful operational metrics to judge project health and feasibility

Minimum qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management

·      At least three years of accounting experience  or equivalent experience

·      High proficiency in the Microsoft Office software suite

·      Experience with Intuit financial management tools such as QuickBooks

·      Experience supporting financial audits, including preparing documentation, reconciling accounts, and responding to auditor requests

·      Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate through ambiguity

·      US Citizenship

Preferred qualifications:

·      Experience with government contracting or DCAA audits

·      Experience with indirect cost pools, allocation bases, provisional billing rates, and incurred cost submissions

·      Familiarity with federal invoicing systems such as PIEE/WAWF.

·      Experience with government contracting accounting systems

·      Experience supporting proposal pricing, financial forecasting, and small-business accounting operations

·      Financial Data visualization using Python and web technologies

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Pay: $75,000-115,000
