Work closely with the CFO and finance team to turn financial and operational data into decisions that support a growing business. This role offers ownership of key planning activities and the opportunity to strengthen financial models, improve forecasting, and partner with department leaders across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own portions of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plan; support monthly reforecasting.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis comparing actual results with budget, forecast, and prior year, explaining key business drivers.
- Maintain and improve the three-statement financial model.
- Maintain operational models to assess the financial impact of cost changes, supplier decisions, inventory, and process improvements.
- Partner with department heads to align financial plans with business priorities.
- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and alignment between actual results and forecasts.
- Improve FP&A processes, data integrity, and system utilization.
- Support board materials, leadership presentations, strategic planning, and ad hoc analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Ideally six or more years of relevant professional experience, including hands-on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain and improve an integrated income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow model.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain financial results clearly to business partners.
- Manufacturing experience, SAP experience, and a CPA are pluses.
