Marketing Manager
Location: Nashville TN high preferred
Reports to: CFO
Compensation: dependent upon experience
The role
LMK Recruiting’s client is seeking a Marketing Manager to turn channel performance into measurable customer growth across local markets. In this role, you will coordinate external specialists, align priorities with branch and sales leadership, oversee the marketing calendar and budget, and ensure completed campaigns consistently drive customer acquisition. You should be comfortable diving into the details of Google Ads, Local Services Ads, organic search, Google Business Profiles, conversion rate optimization, and lead follow-up. While you don’t need to build every tracking integration or implement deep technical SEO fixes yourself, you must know how to inspect the work, spot blind spots, and translate findings into strategic decisions.
What you’ll own
- Build a prioritized plan by market and channel, with clear owners, deadlines, budgets, and expected outcomes.
- Direct the tracking and SEO work already underway. Review recommendations, resolve dependencies, verify implementation, and hold partners accountable for results.
- Oversee Google Business Profiles, local listings, reviews, local content, and market specific SEO work. Coordinate with branches to obtain accurate service information, photos, and customer proof.
- Manage Google Ads and Local Services Ads performance, including budgets, lead quality, search terms, landing pages, lead statuses, and opportunities to recover charges for invalid leads.
- Work with inside sales and branch leaders to identify where leads are lost between inquiry, contact, signed agreement, and initial service. Help fix handoff and response problems.
- Maintain a weekly scorecard by market and channel covering spend, qualified leads, signed agreements, completed initial services, acquisition cost, and incremental first-year contract revenue. Keep website organic, local profile, and paid results distinct.
- Recommend where to increase, reduce, or test spending based on customer outcomes and branch needs-not lead volume alone.
What success looks like
Within your first 90 days, you will establish a dependable marketing operating rhythm: a market-by-market plan, an agreed-upon performance scorecard, a vetted vendor backlog, and clear accountability for lead and review follow-up. Leadership will gain full visibility into which channels produce paying customers, where conversions drop off, and your recommendations for next steps. Over time, success is measured by more new customers completing their initial service, profitable upsells, expanded local visibility, and acquisition costs that align cleanly with incremental first-year contract revenue. You will also help leadership track how these regional gains stack up against branch cancellation rates.
