Director of Marketing and Communications

An investment bank focused on the insurance sector, with an equity research desk and an M&A advisory practice, is hiring its first dedicated marketing leader. Reporting to the C-suite, you’ll build the playbook for research distribution, deal marketing, digital presence and investor events.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

• Distribute equity research and morning notes to institutional clients, and grow the CRM behind it
• Produce pitch books, teasers and tombstones for M&A mandates after FINRA clearance
• Own the website, LinkedIn and firm collateral under one visual and editorial standard
• Work with the firm’s AI leadership on how the firm appears in AI-assisted search
• Plan investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and insurance industry events
• Build the approval and recordkeeping process with Compliance and Legal

WHAT THE FIRM IS LOOKING FOR

• 4+ years in marketing or communications, ideally at a sell-side research firm, investment bank or asset manager
• Familiarity with FINRA-regulated communications
• Salesforce or a research distribution platform, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
• Writing that turns technical insurance and financial content into clear client-facing material
• Financial services fluency. Bachelor’s degree preferred, insurance knowledge a strong plus
