The role

You will own the MachineMetrics events program end-to-end, in person and virtual: strategy, logistics, attendance, follow-up, and the pipeline it produces. You will also build our first user conference from scratch and run our community programming. This role reports to the Director of Marketing.

What You Will Own

  • Event strategy and budget. The annual event calendar, with a business case, budget, and pipeline goals for every event.
  • Tradeshows, field events, and customer events. The full program, from booth production, logistics, and event partners through on-site execution, collateral, swag, and vendor contracts.
  • Event experience and brand. Booth messaging, creative, and on-site experience that carry the MachineMetrics brand, plus photo and video capture that turns every event into content.
  • Pre-event demand and follow-up. Pre-event plans with sales, pre-booked meeting goals, lead capture, and handoff to sales. Includes building and launching invitation sequences to drive event traffic.
  • Webinars. Topic planning through speaker coordination, production, and live execution.
  • User conference and community. The first MachineMetrics user conference, built from scratch with cross-functional support, plus community programming including user groups and customer speakers.
  • Reporting. Event ROI against spend (meetings, leads, opportunities, and pipeline), with post-event readouts on what to repeat and what to cut.

What you bring

  • 4+ years running B2B events end to end, including tradeshows, field events, and webinars
  • Experience producing a large-scale conference or user event
  • A record of reporting event outcomes in meetings, leads, and pipeline, not only attendance

  • AI fluency. You use AI tools as a core part of how you work
  • Strong writing and calm, resourceful problem-solving on site
