Spacca Tutto is a bold new Italian-American steakhouse opening in August 2026 in Palisades Village. Founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Nancy Silverton in partnership with Rick Caruso and New School Hospitality, Spacca Tutto builds on the legacy of Silverton’s acclaimed chi SPACCA while embracing the timeless appeal of the classic American steakhouse.
Spanning 3,000 square feet of interior dining space with a 1,500-square-foot patio and bar, Spacca Tutto offers the warmth and intimacy of a neighborhood destination. The menu features an extensive steak program alongside seasonal salads, fresh seafood, seasonal vegetable dishes, a creative bar menu, nearly 150 Italian and domestic wines, and a thoughtfully crafted cocktail program.

Position Overview
As a Floor Manager at Spacca Tutto, you will play a key role in leading daily Front of House operations and ensuring every guest receives warm, attentive, and seamless hospitality. Working closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and leadership team, you will oversee service execution, coach and develop team members, maintain operational standards, and help foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
The Floor Manager will also support the successful execution of private events, special events, and large parties, ensuring that each event reflects Spacca Tutto’s standards of hospitality, service, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment, has exceptional communication and leadership skills, and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesService Leadership & Guest Experience
- Lead daily Front of House operations during service while maintaining exceptional hospitality standards.
- Ensure every guest receives attentive, personalized, and professional service.
- Monitor dining room flow, reservations, seating, pacing, and overall service throughout each shift.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor, engaging with guests and supporting the team as needed.
- Resolve guest concerns quickly, professionally, and with genuine hospitality.
- Ensure all food and beverage service meets Spacca Tutto’s quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen leadership to communicate menu updates, special requests, allergies, VIPs, and service priorities.
- Anticipate guest and team needs and proactively address issues before they impact the guest experience.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate servers, bartenders, hosts, support staff, and food runners.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to support employee growth and development.
- Foster a positive, respectful, collaborative, and accountable team environment.
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings, communicating menu features, service priorities, VIP guests, events, and operational updates.
- Ensure all team members consistently uphold service standards, company policies, and expectations.
- Lead by example and actively contribute to a culture of teamwork and hospitality.
Operations & Administration
- Assist with daily scheduling, labor management, and staffing levels.
- Monitor labor costs while maintaining exceptional guest service and operational efficiency.
- Complete opening and closing manager responsibilities.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and end-of-day reporting.
- Ensure side work, checklists, and daily operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain reservation systems, floor plans, table management, and service pacing.
- Assist with Front of House inventory management and ensure operating supplies are properly stocked.
- Ensure service equipment, supplies, and guest-facing areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and communicate recommendations to the management team.
Events & Special Functions
- Support the planning and execution of private events, special events, buyouts, and large parties.
- Partner with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and other departments to ensure successful event execution.
- Review event details, timelines, menus, guest counts, VIPs, special requests, and service expectations with the appropriate team members.
- Assist with event setup, staffing, service execution, and breakdown.
- Oversee service during events to ensure timing, food and beverage execution, and guest experience meet Spacca Tutto standards.
- Serve as a key point of contact during events, addressing guest and operational needs in real time.
- Coordinate communication between Front of House, Back of House, Events, and other teams throughout each event.
- Assist with post-event follow-up, team feedback, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Standards & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health department regulations and food safety requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the restaurant.
- Ensure all service equipment is clean, stocked, and functioning properly.
- Uphold all alcohol service policies and responsible beverage service standards.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed by all team members.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and respectful work environment.
Communication & Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen leadership to ensure seamless communication between Front and Back of House.
- Maintain strong communication with the General Manager and leadership team regarding daily operations, staffing, guest feedback, and service opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure successful daily operations and events.
- Maintain professional relationships with vendors and service partners as needed.
- Support management in identifying opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, team performance, and operational efficiency.
- Assist other departments as needed to support the overall success of the restaurant.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, upscale, or chef-driven restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Front of House operations, hospitality, and elevated service standards.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing hospitality teams.
- Experience supporting private events, special events, or large parties preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and decisive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with reservation platforms and POS systems preferred.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, and classic cocktail service preferred.
- Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits
$40.00/hour + Commission
