Grow a federal market from the ground up, with the backing of a global technology business.
My client is a growing global technology company. They design and build test instrumentation for network synchronization and network emulation, and their customers use it to check that critical telecoms infrastructure performs as it should. They’re now building their US Federal presence and need a Business Development Manager to lead the push into Federal Civilian agencies and Federal Systems Integrators (FSIs).

You will:
- Find, qualify and close new business with Federal Civilian agencies and top-tier FSIs
- Build and run a territory plan that maps the key stakeholders, decision-makers and mission-critical programs
- Work with integrators to get the technology positioned on major programs and long-term opportunities
- Own your pipeline and keep the forecast accurate
- Run customer trials and evaluations, with support from local and HQ engineering
- Be the first point of contact for customers’ technical and application questions
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences and industry events
- Pass market and customer feedback to the product teams so it shapes what gets built next
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of direct enterprise technology sales, including complex, high-value deals
- A track record of selling into Federal Civilian agencies and/or FSIs, and of beating your targets in the federal space
- Working knowledge of the FAR, federal budget cycles and procurement vehicles such as GSA Schedules and SEWP
- An established network across government, defense and large systems integrators
- A solid grounding in areas such as Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), cybersecurity, and network test and validation
- The technical confidence to explain complex value propositions to both technical and non-technical buyers
- Strong presentation, negotiation and communication skills, and a collaborative approach that works across regional and global teams
What’s on offer
- Competitive Salary plus a bonus
- Benefits package: health, 401(k)
- A friendly, inclusive culture with a strong focus on employee engagement and well-being.
- Growth and development in a business that’s expanding
- Some international travel to the company’s HQ for sales meetings and training
You must have the unrestricted right to work in the US.
