Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Operations Coordinator IV with experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, and construction design. The candidate will assess existing apartment buildings and new construction properties to determine network connectivity requirements, support preliminary network and Wi-Fi designs, and assist the sales team in presenting technical solutions to customers.

This role combines field property assessments, network design support, project tracking, and customer-facing technical communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field assessments at existing apartment complexes and new construction sites within approximately one hour of the office.
• Evaluate network infrastructure, fiber connectivity, structured cabling, building layouts, and existing wiring conditions.
• Determine network feasibility and identify infrastructure limitations based on building construction and customer requirements.
• Assist with preliminary network designs, construction drawing markups, and equipment lists.
• Use Bluebeam or similar tools to review building layouts and prepare design markups.
• Support Wi-Fi network planning, access point placement, and predictive heat mapping using tools such as Ekahau AI Pro.
• Maintain project databases and track approximately 15‚Äì20 active properties.
• Use Smartsheet and Microsoft Excel for data management, project tracking, reporting, and status updates.
• Participate in weekly project meetings and provide updates on property assessments and project progress.
• Partner with Account Executives during customer calls and property visits to explain technical solutions.
• Communicate with property owners, property managers, maintenance directors, construction site managers, and IT engineers.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and design teams to support the development of final network solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 3‚Äì5+ years of relevant experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, construction design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of physical network infrastructure, fiber connectivity, structured cabling, and building construction requirements.
• Ability to assess building layouts and determine network connectivity feasibility.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet or similar project tracking tools.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain accurate project records.
• Willingness to travel to properties and construction sites 2‚Äì3 days per week.
• Must reside within approximately one hour of the office in the Baltimore area. Preferred

Qualifications

• Field experience in telecommunications installation, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, or network maintenance.
• Experience with Bluebeam for construction drawing reviews and design markups.
• Experience with Wi-Fi network design, access point placement, and predictive heat mapping.
• Familiarity with Ekahau AI Pro; certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience with multi-dwelling unit (MDU) properties, broadband infrastructure, managed Wi-Fi, or building connectivity solutions.
• Experience preparing preliminary network designs and equipment lists.

Work Environment

• This position combines office work, field property assessments, preliminary design work, project tracking, and customer interaction. Candidates must be comfortable traveling within approximately a one-hour radius of the office and collaborating with sales, engineering, and project management teams.
