Role Description This is a part-time, remote Financial Analyst role. The Financial Analyst will support financial planning and analysis activities, including preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance reports for assigned programs or business units. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, monitoring key performance indicators, and preparing regular financial reports and dashboards for leadership review. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to interpret financial data, identify trends, assess risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve financial performance. The Financial Analyst will also help ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant financial policies, while contributing to process improvements and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong finance and financial planning skills, including experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to work with financial statements and financial reporting, including preparing and interpreting reports.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software, or BI tools).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information to non-finance partners.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or other complex, project-based industries is beneficial but not required.
