Overview

The Finance Division supports the firm’s books and records, risk management, and financial reporting while serving as a strategic advisor to business units and senior management. The Investment Banking Division (IBD) Divisional Reporting team is responsible for revenue, expense, risk, and metrics reporting for the Investment Banking business.

This role will support weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, revenue analysis, financial reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience within a financial services firm, with a preference for experience in FP&A and/or lending products, along with strong Excel capabilities, analytical skills, and an understanding of foundational controllership accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reporting for the Investment Banking Division, including revenue and expense reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare weekly external Investment Banking revenue results and forecasts.
  • Complete month-end books-to-reported reconciliations and perform related research for IBD.
  • Collaborate with Global Controller teams to consolidate commentary for revenue reporting.
  • Produce ad hoc reporting and analysis for Corporate Reporting, ISG Reporting, business units, and Finance Management.
  • Partner with Technology on system enhancement and reporting projects.
  • Participate in testing and implementation of new Investment Banking reporting tools.
  • Analyze financial data and reporting trends to support business and management decisions.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and increase team efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 2‚Äì5 years of professional experience at a financial services firm, preferably with exposure to FP&A and/or lending products.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of AI and transformational tools.
  • Understanding of foundational controllership accounting principles.
  • Interest in or familiarity with financial markets and financial products.
  • Previous experience in Financial Services, Audit, Accounting, FP&A, or related functions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with challenging stakeholders and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities to improve team efficiency.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively and deliver high-quality results.
  • Ability to work effectively across Finance, Technology, Controller, Corporate Reporting, and business teams.
