The business currently operates 10 locations across five states, including corporate-owned and franchise locations, with approximately $3–4 million in annual revenue. As part of a diversified, privately held group generating approximately $35 million in combined revenue, the company is investing in its financial infrastructure to support continued expansion.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will play a key role in establishing stronger financial reporting, improving location-level visibility, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on financial professional who enjoys building processes, working directly with executive leadership, and having a measurable impact on business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead monthly variance analysis and identify key drivers of financial performance.
  • Build standardized location-level P&L reporting across corporate-owned and franchise operations.
  • Develop financial and operational KPI dashboards to provide leadership with actionable insights.
  • Support cash flow forecasting, working capital analysis, and capital allocation decisions.

Financial Reporting & Business Insights

  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership and ownership.
  • Analyze location-level revenue, operating expenses, profitability, and performance trends.
  • Evaluate recurring membership revenue, customer retention, retail product sales, and franchise economics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operating margins, profitability, and same-store sales.
  • Translate complex financial information into practical recommendations for senior leadership.

Operational Finance & Strategic Growth

  • Partner with operations leadership to evaluate labor efficiency, staffing, productivity, and location-level performance.
  • Analyze pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, customer spending, and service utilization.
  • Develop financial models evaluating new locations, franchise expansion, and other growth initiatives.
  • Support financial analysis related to planned consumer product and e-commerce expansion.
  • Help improve financial systems, reporting processes, and operational visibility.
  • Contribute to the organization’s implementation and utilization of NetSuite ERP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and demonstrated financial modeling expertise.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Ability to independently develop financial analyses and communicate findings to executive leadership.
  • Experience with financial reporting systems, ERP platforms, or business intelligence tools.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, business judgment, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Approximately 5–7 years of financial analysis experience with strong potential for continued growth.
  • Background in multi-location consumer services, retail, hospitality, beauty and wellness, or franchise-based businesses.
  • Experience developing location-level P&Ls and analyzing unit economics.
  • Familiarity with recurring revenue models, memberships, and customer retention metrics.
  • Experience with NetSuite or ERP implementations.
  • Background in an entrepreneurial, high-growth, or private equity-backed business environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $80,000–$95,000
  • Performance-based annual bonus
  • 20 days of paid vacation/PTO annually
  • 10–11 paid company holidays
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Up to $2,000 annually for professional development, education, or approved conferences

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This is not a traditional financial analyst position focused solely on producing reports. As a newly created role, it offers the opportunity to help build the financial reporting structure and analytical processes of a growing organization.

The successful candidate will work directly with the CEO, gain exposure to strategic business decisions, and help establish the financial foundation for future growth.

We are seeking someone who brings strong technical financial skills, takes ownership of their work, and wants to make a meaningful contribution to a growing business.
