Remote Full TimeRedwood City, United States (Remote)Spacelift

Spacelift is an infrastructure orchestration platform that manages your entire infrastructure lifecycle — provisioning, configuration and governance. Spacelift integrates with all your infrastructure tooling (e.g. Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Ansible) to provide a single integrated workflow so you can deliver secure, cost-effective, and resilient infrastructure, fast.

By automating deployment and configuration, providing developer self-service, golden paths with guardrails, and an OPA policy engine, Spacelift empowers businesses to accelerate developer velocity while maintaining control and governance over their infrastructure. Spacelift offers unrivalled support, no-nonsense pricing, and a range of deployment models to fit your specific needs.

Spacelift was founded in 2020 by long-time DevOps practitioner Marcin Wyszynski and successful entrepreneur Pawel Hytry and has raised $82.3M in funding over four rounds from top venture capital firms, including Insight Partners, Blossom Capital, Hoxton Ventures, Inovo Venture partners and Five Elms Capital.

Spacelift is looking for a Senior Manager, Field Marketing & Events to lead and grow our field marketing program.

We’re looking for a motivated marketer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and execution. Someone who knows how to turn a great idea into an unforgettable experience, bring sales teams along for the ride, and demonstrate the impact on pipeline and revenue.

You’ll own Spacelift’s field marketing strategy and execution, spanning major industry conferences, executive experiences, regional campaigns, and partner activations. You’ll also help build the team behind it, hiring and developing talent as our programs grow.

About the Role

Own our field marketing strategy and performance

  • Develop and execute field marketing programs that drive pipeline generation, target-account engagement, and opportunity acceleration.

  • Partner with regional Sales leadership to identify market opportunities, align on priorities, and build programs that support revenue goals.

Create memorable experiences that stand out

  • Lead the strategy and execution of major industry conferences, tradeshows, executive dinners, regional activations, and partner events.

  • Develop creative, differentiated event concepts that give technical audiences a compelling reason to engage with Spacelift.

Build and lead a high-performing team

  • Develop the hiring plan for the field marketing function, recruit and manage team members, and scale the team based on business needs.

  • Lead by example as a hands-on manager who can move comfortably between strategic planning, creative brainstorming, and tactical execution.

Champion field marketing across Spacelift

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and rally teams around field marketing initiatives.

  • Communicate proactively by sharing plans, ideas, results, and lessons learned to create visibility and alignment across the organisation.

About You

  • 6+ years of B2B tech marketing experience, with a strong background in field marketing, experiential marketing, or event-led demand generation

  • Proven people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and managing team members.

  • Creative and entrepreneurial, with a track record of developing unique event concepts and the initiative to turn ideas into action.

  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple programs, budgets, and priorities simultaneously.

  • An energetic, confident communicator who builds relationships easily, influences stakeholders, and gets others excited about new ideas.

  • A collaborative, sales-oriented mindset, comfortable partnering with Sales leadership, AEs, and SDRs to drive shared outcomes.

  • A bias for action, with the ability to operate independently, solve problems, and take ownership from strategy through execution.

  • Willingness to travel approximately 15–25% to support field marketing activities.

  • Medical, dental and vision plans for employees and any dependents

  • 401k Pension Plan
