A publicly traded Fortune 500 company, and the leader in its industry, is hiring a Financial Analyst in Itasca. This seat is for someone three to four years in who is growing faster than their current firm or company can promote them.

If you’re in audit, you’ve spent years testing numbers after the decisions were made. Here you work on them before: forecasts, profitability, and where the business puts its money next. If you’re an analyst deep inside a big corporate finance department, this moves you closer to operations and the people running the business.

What you’ll do

• Build forecasts and budgets, and explain variances in plain language
• Analyze profitability and performance, then recommend what to do about it
• Prepare reporting and analysis for senior leadership
• Partner with operations and accounting on the numbers behind major decisions
• Improve the models and reports you inherit

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 to 4 years in audit at a Big 4 or regional firm, or in financial analysis at a large company
• CPA preferred for candidates coming from public accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large data sets
• The ability to explain numbers to people who don’t live in them
