About Tilt Rips

Tilt Rips is a digital collectibles platform where customers open packs of real Pokémon, One Piece, and sports cards. Collectors can keep their cards securely vaulted, have them shipped, list them on our marketplace, or sell them back for platform credit.

We’re hiring a performance marketer who can turn strong creative into measurable customer growth.

The role

You will own paid campaigns and the creative that powers them. That means researching audiences, developing concepts, producing ads, launching tests, and deciding where to scale spend.

Your goal is to acquire customers who buy packs and keep coming back, at an acquisition cost the business can sustain. You should be equally comfortable inside an ad account, editing a short-form video, and explaining what the results mean.

This is a hands-on role with direct responsibility for campaign execution and creative output.

What you’ll own

Paid media and experimentation

  • Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and other relevant acquisition channels. Own campaign setup, budget pacing, targeting, placements, and daily performance decisions.
  • Run a structured weekly testing program across audiences, concepts, hooks, formats, and offers. Define what each test should teach us and the evidence needed to scale, revise, or stop it.
  • Turn successful tests into repeatable campaigns. Monitor creative fatigue, refresh assets, and evaluate new channels as opportunities emerge.

Creative strategy and production

  • Develop ideas from collector behavior, customer feedback, product features, cultural moments, and competitor research.
  • Personally write hooks, scripts, headlines, and ad copy; edit short-form videos; and produce static ads and creative variations using product footage, creator content, and design assets.
  • Use AI-assisted creative and editing tools to increase production speed while reviewing output for accuracy, quality, and brand fit.
  • Work with creators, designers, and editors when needed. Maintain a clear creative library that connects each concept and variation to its performance and lessons learned.

Measurement and conversion

  • Follow performance from ad impression through signup, first purchase, and repeat purchase. Identify friction and work with product and design partners to improve landing pages, onboarding, and offer presentation.
  • Use customer acquisition cost, conversion, retention, payback, and contribution-based returns to guide spending. Partner with finance to account for promotional costs, buyback economics, and customer quality.
  • Work with analytics and engineering partners to validate tracking and attribution. Reconcile platform-reported results with business data and distinguish new customer acquisition from returning customer activity.
  • Share concise weekly reporting on spend, results, creative learnings, and next actions. Check copy, links, tracking, and offer details before launch.

What you bring

  • 4+ years in performance marketing, paid acquisition, or direct-response advertising, with hands-on ownership of both campaigns and creative development.
  • Strong Meta Ads expertise and practical experience with TikTok or another major acquisition channel.
  • A portfolio of ads you personally helped produce and campaigns you personally managed, with clear examples of how testing improved results.
  • Strong direct-response copywriting and practical video editing and design skills. You can take an idea through to a launch-ready ad.
  • A working command of acquisition economics, attribution, and experimentation. You can assess noisy or incomplete data and make a reasoned spending decision.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, ad reporting, and creative tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, Figma, or equivalents.
  • High ownership and attention to detail. You move quickly, document what you learn, and adapt when the evidence changes.

Experience that would be especially useful

  • Consumer apps, marketplaces, ecommerce, gaming, or collectibles.
  • Mobile app acquisition, web-to-app journeys, and mobile attribution tools.
  • Creator-led advertising, user-generated content, and AI-assisted creative production.
  • Google, YouTube, AppLovin, or other channels beyond paid social.

What success looks like in your first 90 days

  • You understand our customers, product, acquisition economics, and existing campaign performance.
  • You have established a consistent creative production and testing rhythm, with clear decisions about what to scale and stop.
  • You have shipped original creative, identified promising acquisition opportunities, and improved a measurable part of the customer journey.
  • The team can see how spend translates into new purchasing customers and subsequent customer value.
